I loled at Kitty and "capsicum". I guess it's as weird to them as calling them "peppers" is to us Aussies.

I had to comment, because i was looking for pretty much this recipe. In high school we made macaroni and cheese, and it was indeed a very tasty meal (I think my school got all their recipes from assorted ancient Women's Weekly tomes, but let's face it, they're the best for old school food). Over the years, I lost the recipe, but this is pretty much it, so thankyou!

And, I will admit it, despite my culinary snobbery and bookshelf full of Donna Hay and Maggie Beer... I practically lived on the self-saucing chocolate pudding for many of my late teenage years. My ex still rings me up every few months for the recipe!

that is the coolest dish of mac & cheese I've ever seen! Way to make a classic your own. My kind of mac & cheese growing up was from the blue box so I m not a mac & cheese snob. Anything beats the powdered cheese mix, although at the time I was addicted.

lol. awesome.

While I would never identify what you created as Mac and Cheese, I would still happily eat a big bowlful.

I love the word capsicum! Its so cute. I could picture a celebrity couple naming their baby Capsicum. I got a trivia question right knowing that word once, but I had actually come very close to saying Aubergine, which would make a good celebrity baby name too.

Kickpleat - I was about to day 'it's the weather for it,' but I don't know what the weather is like in Canada. Either way, mac and cheese is awesome.

Michelle - seeing as we're in the future down here I might be able to swing that. Please don't be scared of the orange CWA macaroni cheese, though. It is a friendly creature and means you no harm.
